With the upcoming release of Zenless Zone Zero coming on the 4th of July 2024, HoYoverse has been kind enough to send us a box full of goodies for the game.
Among all the hype building up for HoYoverse’s latest title, this box is looking up to be a new glimpse into the world of Zenless Zen Zero and New Eridu.
Without further ado, let’s unseal the Zenless Zone Zero Media Kit to uncover the treasures within it, and perhaps there might be a Bangboo or two.
Woohoo!
Right from the start, we’re greeted by a TV Screen showing a pack of cheering Bangboos. It really shows off the whimsical energy these creatures always seem to emit.
The box itself is divided into Side A and Side B, reminiscent of cassette tapes of olden days. I wonder if these really are the current technology of New Eridu, or is it just trendy among the young folks?
Buttboo!
Everyone knows the good stuff is at the end, right? So let’s take a look at Side B first and oh, my! It’s the biggest Bangboo of the bunch!
This feisty fella is actually a mousepad, but it seems like it’s going the extra mile to ensure maximum comfort for its user. Made of gel and fabric, this cute guy will make sure your wrist will never hurt while using him.
Familiar Faces
Going back to Side A, this is where the rest of the good stuff is located. First off, inside this size of the box lies an acrylic standee of Koleda Belobog. Despite its size, it does a really good job at showing off the fiery confidence of the Belobog Heavy Industries president.
Next up, a set of 3 badges featuring the Demara sisters and Billy Kid. Made of tin plate, these badges have a beautiful metallic sheen that the camera does not do any justice. As a bonus, we don’t think we have seen these designs anywhere else before, so it might be all new art made just for these items.
Another item packed into the media kit is a bunch of postcards, each showing off a different faction of New Eridu and their respective charm. Even the Proxies get one all to themselves!
There’s also 2 boxes of fridge magnets showcasing cute snippets of Zenless Zone Zero such as more Bangboo antics and other assorted city NPCs. Much to my surprise, most of them are made of 2 layers of acrylic, giving a welcome sense of dimension to these otherwise flat magnets.
Take New Eridu With You
Last but not least, the Zenless Zone Zero media kit includes a custom-designed game case for Nintendo Switch cards. Emblazoned with a cassette design just like the box, the case can hold up to 24 games and is slim enough to fit almost anywhere. The slots where the cards go are made of silicon and are firm enough to hold game cards snugly without damaging them.
All in all, these are some items that any Zenless Zone Zero fan would enjoy, and we would like to thank our friends over at HoYoverse for the wonderful package.
Zenless Zone Zero will be launching worldwide on 4th July 2024 for PlayStation 5, iOS and Android mobile phones, and PC via Epic Games Store.
