Konami has confirmed that their upcoming YuGiOh title, Master Duel, will feature Crossplay when the game launches later this Winter.
In a new trailer, they announced that you’ll be able to play YuGiOh Master Duel with your friends regardless of where they’re playing it- be it PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, iOS or Android thanks to the crossplay feature
Of course, cross play also includes cross-progression- players will be able to sync their data across their multiple platforms, so it’s always time to duel since you’ll always have your best decks on you.
YuGiOh Master Duel is an attempt to bring a faithful adaptation of the YuGiOh Trading Card game to the digital space. Just like in real life you’ll open in-game packs, unlocking over 10,000 cards from the game’s decades-spanning history to use to build your own deck.
It’s not just targeted at veterans looking for a way to play their favorite card game without lugging their decks around everywhere- Konami says they’re including an in-depth tutorial for new players to learn the game as well, as well as a solo campaign mode to get more players familiar with the expansive background lore of YuGiOh’s many monster archetypes.
