Konami has announced that they would be giving out 1000 gems to celebrate YuGiOh Master Duel hitting 10 million downloads, just weeks after the game’s launch.
“To celebrate the news, KONAMI has launched an in-game 10 Million Download Campaign. Log in to Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL between now and 31 March 2022 to receive a 1000 Gems bonus!”, they said in a press statement.
To say YuGiOh Master Duel was having a good start with its downloads would be an understatement- the game has over 87,000 concurrent players on PC (via Steamdb), with an all-time high of over 262,000.
That’s of course only its PC version, and not including its releases on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X or mobile.
The game’s also garnered a lot of traction on social media, as YuGiOh fans old and new share their experiences climbing the game’s ranked ladders via a variety of strategies and plays.
YuGiOh Master Duel is a near 1:1 port of the YuGiOh TCG, letting you build the deck of your dreams to compete against other duelists around the world. It features cross-saves on top of its cross-play, so you can carry your progress with you across the game’s multiple platforms since the game also happens to be free-to-play.
Even if you’re not into dueling other people, the game also boasts a Solo mode, where you can get plenty of rewards like gems to pull for more cards.
