YuGiOh Master Duel Players are complaining about the game’s infestation of bots, which sees cheaters running scripts to farm rewards or climb up ranks in the game and penchant for DD Dynamite.
These bots are pre-programmed to run specific decks, most notably the DD Dynamite/Banquet of Millions FTK to score easy wins against opponents which are possibly later sold on sites such as Taobao, based on the number of accounts being sold there:
Japanese players were upset enough to air their grievances online, with the katakana name for DD Dynamite trending on Twitter over the weekend with over 7,000 tweets from frustrated Japanese players.
“Fuck those who use DD Dynamite decks just to win quickly and disconnect when they can’t get the coin toss table”, writes one exasperated Japanese player, describing yet another ranked match against a DD Dynamite deck in YuGiOh Master Duel.
While it’s easy to dismiss it as the behavior of sore losers, the players make a strong case that bots had infiltrated the game with the intention of selling the accounts to players who didn’t wanna grind for their favorite cards.
The bots weren’t exactly modeled to think outside of their basic script either- one player shows them seemingly stuck in a logic loop, trying to activate the effect of Danger! Mothman even though it’s effects had already been negated prior.

“Hopefully the community makes an uproar about this again like the instant forced surrender incidents and it’ll get patched ASAP”, writes redditor pcaenngtaeerain a now-deleted reddit post complaining about the issue.
