If you live in the US, clothing brand Hypland is currently conducting a series of Pop Up stores celebrating YuGiOh with statues and merchandise.
Having opened first in New York this past week, the YuGiOh Hypland Pop Up store features various art installations, such as statues of Toon Summoned Skull and Toon Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the Toon versions of monsters used by both Yugi and Kaiba in the series.
Here’s the details for the Los Angeles pop up, which opens this week:
LOS ANGELES: 10/16 – 10/17
8505 SANTA MONICA BLVD
10 AM – 7 PM
Do note that they will be enforcing masks and social distancing for the event.
Of course, you couldn’t celebrate the YuGiOh anime without a giant statue of the Millennium Puzzle, the very iconic and very cursed relic containing the soul of the Pharaoh and kicking off the events of the original series.
Hypland are being secretive about a lot of their streetwear released from the series- you can spot some in their promotional videos, but they won’t be releasing the full lookbook until October 13th.
From what we can tell though, it’s a lot of designs featuring prints of iconic characters from across the YuGiOh anime such as Yami Marik and his iconic monsters.
On top of that there’s also an exclusive poster, featuring the eternal battle of Kaiba and Yugi, with their Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes White Dragon duking it out in the background.
@hypland shoutout hypland for doing this collaboration and the dope poster pic.twitter.com/bLpLa9qXkJ
