Get on your dueling mode because the Yu-Gi-Oh and Hello Kitty collaboration plush toys are now available at McDonald’s Malaysia.
Starting from 4 April 2024, fans of Yu-Gi-Oh and Hello Kitty can order Happy Meals via Dine-In, McDelivery, or Drive-Thru at any McDonald’s restaurant in Malaysia to collect 8 plush toys based on both iconic franchises.
As mentioned, there are 8 different Yu-Gi-Oh x Hello Kitty and Friends plush toys to collect, and they are all Hello Kitty characters dressed up as the various iconic monster cards from Yu-Gi-Oh!
Note that they will be released as pairs on different dates, so mark your calendar to ensure you grab your chosen one.
The 8 plush toys are as follows:
- From 4 April 2024
- Hello Kitty x Dark Magician
- Cinnamoroll x Blue-Eyes White Dragon
- From 11 April 2024
- My Melody x Dark Magician Girl
- Bad Badtz-Maru x Red-Eyes White Dragon
- From 18 April 2024
- Tuxedosam x Obelisk the Tormentor
- Kerokerokeroppi x Kuriboh
- From 25 April 2024
- Pompompurin x Exodia the Forbidden One
- Kuromi x Slifer the Sky Dragon
Furthermore, McDonald’s is seemingly teasing a digital experience relating to the plush toys, with the line: “Complete with a magical digital experience, where you can see your character come to life!”
Interestingly, 2 out of 3 Divine-Beasts are acquirable from the collection, that being Tuxedosam as Obelisk the Tormentor and Kuromi as Slifer the Sky Dragon, with The Winged Dragon of Ra nowhere to be seen.
While McDonald’s Malaysia announced the collaboration toys’ availability start date, they did not announce how long the availability would last.
But similar to previous Happy Meal toys availability, it will likely only be available for a limited time or until stocks last.
