New Game Elements
A New Adventure on Danmorc Island
Adol and Karja continue their voyage through the Obelia Gulf aboard the Sandras, aiming to defeat the immortal beings known as the Griegr.
Their journey takes them to Aland Island—the largest landmass in the gulf—where they meet Canute and Astrid, a pair of “Shield Siblings” hailing from the Kingdom of Danmorc.
But questions arise: Why have the Normans, who are supposedly under a peace pact with the Balta Seaforce, shown up in the gulf? And what secrets lie buried on this island, once explored by Balta leader Grimson?

As two pairs of Shield Siblings cross paths, the tale of the Normans and their quest to uncover the origins of the mysterious force known as “mana” begins to unfold.
Mana Action: Mana Hold
This unique ability harnesses the power of mana to lift specific objects or hurl them toward designated targets. It plays a vital role in dungeon exploration—whether it’s manipulating mechanical devices during battle or creating makeshift platforms to access hidden or unreachable areas.

Mana Ride Races
With the Mana Ride ability—a mana-powered action that allows swift gliding over both land and water—players can participate in traversal challenges set across the diverse natural landscapes of Aland Island.

Bergen Arena
At Bergen Arena on Aland Island, participants can engage in Norman-style training. Solo play is also available, featuring either Adol or Karja. The opponents are all formidable, but triumph may bring luxurious rewards.

Muspelheim Shrine
Upon meeting specific conditions, players can challenge the expansive dungeon known as Muspelheim Shrine. Featuring time constraints, complex mechanics, and powerful enemies, it presents a significant challenge. However, by utilizing rare items called “Deepcrystals,” certain restrictions within the shrine—such as limited action time or enemy abilities—can be eased.

Golden Symbols And Sea Breezes
While navigating the seas aboard the sailing vessel Sandras, a “Golden Symbol” may occasionally appear. Entering one initiates a naval battle, and emerging victorious unlocks a new “Sea Breeze.” These Sea Breezes significantly enhance the Sandras’ sailing speed.

At present, only the Nintendo Switch 2 release is confirmed as other platforms are still under consideration for release. However, two Ys titles will be making their PlayStation 5 debut in Japan very soon this July, read more about it in our article here.
