Ys VIII Mobile Details To Be Shown At Tokyo Games Show

Linekong Entertainment announced today that the upcoming mobile port of Ys VIII (Pronounced Isu) would be shown at Tokyo Games Show this year. The pre-recorded event will be broadcast at 11.00am JST on September 27th.

The tentatively-named Ys VIII Mobile is a port of the game previously released on consoles, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. This isn’t the first the public has seen of it, as it was playable last year as well.

Additionally, Linekong says they would also be doing an overview of the Ys series during the program.

In conjunction with the event, Linekong will also be having a special Twitter campaign. Following the game’s official twitter will put you in the running for a 5000 Yen Amazon gift card, as well as a signed poster of Ys IX: Monstrum of Nox. The poster will be signed by Toshihiro Kondo, president of Nihon Falcom.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana was released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Vita and PC. The game came out in 2016.
