Bilibili’s mobile port of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is finally available for pre-registration.
As of now, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana on mobile will only be available in Chinese and Japanese languages (per QooApp).
There is currently no official announcements as to whether or not the game will have an English version, although a global release was announced many years ago.
This release has been a long time coming considering that the mobile port was announced back in 2019 and only now it finally looks like the game is nearing its release.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is an action-adventure RPG and is the eigth mainline entry in the Ys series by Nihon Falcom.
It was initially launched only in Japan in 2016 on the PlayStation Vita but later received a worldwide release on other platforms such as the PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC and even Google Stadia.
The game is generally well-received by fans and critics, many have praised its beautiful world design, engaging storyline and satisfying fast-paced combat system.
The story follows an adventurer named Adol who is shipwrecked on a cursed island along with other survivors.
They must now work together to build a village in order to survive, whilst fending off dangerous creatures.
