Youtuber PelleK Was Chosen to Sing The Opening Theme For Skeleton Knight in Another World

Norwegian YouTuber PelleK, known for his covers of anime songs, was chosen to be an opening theme song artist for the Anime, “Skeleton Knight in Another World”.

The popular internet singer with more than 3.88 million subscribers was offered the unexpected opportunity to become the main singer for the song, ‘The Unending Dream‘, which is the opening theme song for the new Anime, “Skeleton Knight in Another World” which just began airing this week.

This song was created by composer Eba, who has a reputation for his great metal/rock sound. Eba has also worked on background music for Skeleton Knight. The lyrics were created by Hotaru who has a lot of experience working on creating the worlds of many different types of anime. The song has both a strong message but naive tone due to Hotaru’s delicate lyrics which match the story of the Anime.

The song features PelleK’s signature high-toned voice which is able to hit a four-octave vocal range. The result is a very unique anime song that has a global feeling about it.

I was super surprised when I was approached by Pony Canyon, which is a Japanese record label, to sing the official opening in Japanese nonetheless. I have been singing for 15 years now and am a huge Anime fan, so this is a dream come true for me. I know how big an impact the opening has on an Anime franchise. So, I was so honored by this great opportunity and I’ve done my best. This song itself perfectly captures both the strength of the characters and the universe, but also how fragile everything is.
