Live Nation Japan announced that they will bring “Nobuo Uematsu Live – con TIKI” to global audiences through a special live stream on Veeps.
The Live Stream will be on Christmas day, Saturday, December 25th, 2021 at 18:00 JST (17:00 MYT). The Video on Demand will be available until Sun 2 January, 23:59 PM JST (22:59 MYT).
Nobuo Uematsu is best known for his works on the world-famous video game series Final Fantasy. He was chosen as one of Times’s The Next Wave – Music in 2010. Uematsu started a global orchestra concert tour of Final Fantasy entitled “Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy” in 2017, and has held over 150 shows worldwide to date.
In this special event, Nobuo Uematsu himself will deliver his music directly to the fans through live streams. The performed tracks will include “Eternal Wind” and “Melodies of Life” from the Final Fantasy series, and Fantasian Main Theme” and “High Sky” from Hironobu Sakaguchi’s game works among others.
He will also read and perform “Story of Blik-0”, for which he wrote the music and story, composed for the Apple Arcade Game Fantasian with Rie Tozuka. This part will come with video visuals and images from the game, along with English subtitles.
This is the first time that Nobuo Uematsu will be offering live streaming to the general public, which has only been available for his fan club members.
