It would seem that Yakuza: Like A Dragon will soon be making its way over to PC! The game’s listing appeared on SteamDB, but its store page is yet to be live at time of writing. The game launched in Japan and Asia on 16 January for Playstation 4, besides a demo that is available for Japan. The official website maintains its 2020 release date for western territories for at least PS4. Yakuza: Like a Dragon being on SteamDB would be the first time of any confirmation of the game being available for PC. Is it a simultaneous, or slightly delayed release? Time will tell.
You can expect the variety of bizarre side things to do be available here too; from:
- “Tug-Tug”
- Obtain benefits such as HP/MP recovery, or improvements to Ichiban Kasuga’s – the protagonist’s – Life Experience
- Crest Exchange
- Find crests and exchange them for a variety of things including exclusive items from Kamurocho’s mascot character, Kamurop
- Party Chat
- Read dialogue between party members depending on where you happen to be
- Smartphone camera
- With your in-game smartphone, take photos using fun filters. Change Kasuga’s expressions when taking selfies!
We’re still awaiting the date for the western release, but hopefully it won’t be too long now.
[UPDATE 7 May 2020]It will be at least confirmed for Windows 10, as well as for the Xbox Series X, as revealed at their Inside Xbox presentation. You can catch it, and other game announcements in the presentation below:
