Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi Redmi 9T Price today, at an international launch event for both it and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T. The phones worldwide launch was today, but Xiaomi Malaysia has clarified that the Redmi 9T will only be available from 15th January in Malaysia.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T is another powerful phone, bringing power to its price point. Below is the Xiaomi Redmi 9T price, along with its various features:
4 +64GB | RM599 |
4+ 128GB | RM699 |
On top of that, it runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, a chip designed for optimally storing your amazing photos thanks to its support of the HEIF image format. It also supports all your favorite games, so rest assured you won’t be giving up your hobby just to get a phone with a better camera. The Xiaomi Redmi 9T sports a 48MP quad camera, ensuring you never miss out on important details with its three different lenses for every situation. You can even watch back your best moments in style with its 6.53-inch FHD+ Display, or just watch your favorite shows.
Similar to the Note 9T, it sports dual speakers, so if you wanted to just watch videos without a pair of headphones, you wouldn’t be getting that muffled speaker noise.
Where the 9T excels though is with its 4 stylish colors, each with splashproof and fingerprint-proof coating. These go on to compliment its newly designed side power button, which also doubles as a fingerprint scanner.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T will be available at the following price points, based on its storage. Unlike the Redmi 9T, Xiaomi Malaysia has not made any statements about it, so we’re including the European pricing it was presented with.
4+64GB | 229 Euros |
4+128GB | 269 Euros |
The Redmi Note 9T is the first Redmi Note phone to use 5G, with various adaptations to get used to the higher bandwith signal.
The phone uses the Mediatek Dimensity 800U chip, a powerful 5G enabled chip that balances power and efficiency, allowing it to handle the higher loads of 5G data without running too hot.
This also plays into the phone’s superior battery life management, with Xiaomi claiming the phone would last 4 years before you notice a reduction in battery capacity. On top of that, its high-capacity battery means you can go up to 2 days on a single charge.
It also uses the Mali G57 GPU, a graphics processor built for 5G. Xiaomi promises the phone would be able to handle some of the most demanding games, so even the gamers will want to keep up with this game.
Even if you’re not a gamer though, the phone’s 4 antennae and use of the 5G signal will make it so your phone is processing high loads of information rapidly, which means you’ll be able to stream high quality shows and watch them on the phone’s 6.53-inch FHD+ screen.
The phone’s cameras are no slouch either, with a 48MP back camera AI camera with multiple lenses, as well as a 13MP Front Camera.
On top of that, the phone’s body comes in two colors, Daybreak Purple and Nightfall Black, and the back is splashproof. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T also comes with a headphone jack, although you can also enjoy your media using the phone’s built-in dual speakers as well.
