Xiaomi has been working on new phones to match against the revolutionary Razer gaming phone. With the competition hot on the market, they have found a company called Nanchang Black Shark Co. Ltd. to collaborate with. With their collaboration, they gave birth to the Xiaomi Black Shark gaming phone equipped with high-end hardware that will be launching later today, 13th April 2018, 3 p.m., at Beijing, China.
Looking at the leaked picture from Weibo, China’s social media site, the phone has a detachable gadget on the top of it. There should be a gadget at the dark-colored rectangular area for the bottom part but it was taken off for this picture for unknown reasons. The gadget we’ve been talking about will be the suspected detachable gaming controllers like Nintendo’s Switch which will probably be connected via Bluetooth.

The phone from the back-view seems to have two cameras with a flash. While the specs has already been revealed by Techadvisor to have a Snapdragon 845 processor, Adreno 630 graphics, 8GM of RAM and a storage of up to 256GB with 120Hz refresh rate support. There are even performance scores which revealed to rival Razer’s scores at 270,680 and 8452.
Currently there’s no news on how much will the phone and the detachable controllers will be priced at (which will probably be revealed later today and updated here). But looking at the competitive market, they will probably be slightly cheaper than Razer’s Phone which is priced at $699.99 (about MYR 2715.61).
