Xiaomi Announces Redmi Pad Pro, Available in Malaysia

Xiaomi has announced the latest addition to its tablet line, the Redmi Pad Pro, which is designed for users looking for a large viewing area for more immersive audiovisual entertainment and other leisures.

The Redmi Pad Pro features a 12.1-inch 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600) at 249ppi display with 120Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio. In terms of audio, the tablet boasts quad stereo speakers integrated with Dolby Atmos.

Powered by Xiaomi HyperOS, the tablet is equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Mobile Platform with a 10000mAh (typ) battery and up to 33W fast charging. 

Additionally, the device will be the first Redmi tablet to support the Redmi Pad Pro Smart Keyboard and Redmi Smart Pen.

The Redmi Smart Pen comes with 4096-level pressure sensitivity, a 240Hz sampling rate, and an 80mAh (typ) battery that is said to provide up to 12 hours of writing time.

As for the Smart Keyboard, it has a 1.3mm key travel distance and 19mm key pitch with an added pen holder for the Redmi Smart Pen.

The Redmi Pad Pro is now available for purchase at any Authorized Xiaomi store, or online at mi.com and official Xiaomi stores on Shopee and Lazada.

It comes in 3 colors – Graphite Gray, Mint Green, and Ocean Blue, as well as two storage variants – 6 GB+128 GB and 8 GB+256 GB.
