Xbox Series X Preorders Available In Malaysia

Gamers, the next-generation starts now. Impulse Gaming has opened up preorders for the Xbox Series X, as well as the Xbox Series S. These will be done via the store’s Shopee page.  The pre-order will require an RM599 deposit.

The pricing for the two consoles is as below:

As per the store link, full payment for the consoles will need to be made two weeks before the consoles’ release date.

Fair warning, failure to make the full payment by the due date will result in the release of the pre-order and the forfeiture of the MYR599 deposit.

With no announcement for the PS5 pricing in sight, this is the first chance for Malaysians to get their hands on the next generation of consoles. Between opening Xbox Series X Preorders and Microsoft’s acquisition of Zenimax Media, this is a good chance for the Xbox Series X to get a good userbase in Malaysia.

Similarly, though Xbox Game Pass is one of the console’s big selling points, it’s not known if it will be available in Malaysia in time for the console’s release in November. The service’s “Netflix for games” model combined with the backwards compatibility of the Series X is a good way to bolster its launch window for games.
