Expanding Xbox in the Asia Market
It’s not entirely surprising that Microsoft would be bumping up staff for the Asia region. We already know that they’ve been trying to expand their reach in the Asian market, which has largely been dominated by its competitors Sony and Nintendo. Earlier this year they tried to do this by promoting GamePass in Japan through influencers like Hololive’s Vtubers.
The Xbox Series X technically never launched in Malaysia, either, nor is their marquee service, Xbox Game Pass available here.
