Xbox has announced, “The next generation of Forza Motorsport” at tonight’s Xbox Bethesda Showcase.
This latest title in the series and follow-up to Forza 7 simply referred to (at least for now) as ‘Forza Motorsport’ will be released in the Spring of 2023.
You can check out the reveal trailer and gameplay demo that was shown today below:
“Captured in-game and running on Xbox Series X, we unveiled a brand-new trailer, which debuted alongside the first-ever gameplay of Forza Motorsport, showcasing how Maple Valley – a beloved, fan-favorite track since the very first Motorsport game launched in 2005 – is being brought to life in stunning detail and beauty.
In addition to Maple Valley, our trailer introduced players to returning fan-favorite tracks Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps and Laguna Seca Raceway. We also revealed Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, a South African track making its Forza Motorsport debut, and the all-new Circuit Hakone set in Japan, an original, high-speed Grand Prix circuit built to showcase the technically advanced, state-of-the-art immersion of the new Forza.
Forza Motorsport has been built from the ground up to showcase the Xbox Series X|S consoles. The accuracy of our overhauled physics, the beauty of our cars and tracks, our new dynamic time of day, advanced car damage, and real-time ray tracing on track lead to a generational leap in immersion. The all-new Forza is the most technically advanced racing game ever made.”
The new Forza game will be coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC along with Xbox Game Pass.
