WWE 2k Battlegrounds Roster Update Announced

Cartoony party brawler WWE 2K Battlegrounds has announced a host of new content drops running all through March, adding new characters including the iconic Vince McMahon.

Various characters from the WWE Hall of Fame, Superstars and Legends will be added via various free updates, letting you play with or against more iconic wrestlers from the WWE mythology.

Aside from Vince McMahon, the other characters coming to the game include Doink the Clown, Mustafa Ali and Cactus Jack. The first wave of new content starts today, with the others coming in successive weeks. Some of these characters will need to be unlocked once they’re added to the game.

While the dates themselves are subject to change, here’s the list of the upcoming characters:

Thursday, February 11:

• Mr. McMahon;
• Gran Metalik (unlocked);
• Mojo Rawley (unlocked).

Thursday, February 18:

• Mr. Perfect;
• Doink the Clown;
• Vader;
• Sonya Deville (unlocked).

Thursday, February 25:

• Paige;
• Cactus Jack;
• Mustafa Ali (unlocked);
• Tucker (unlocked);

Thursday, March 4:

• Ricky Steamboat;
• British Bulldog;
• Maryse (unlocked);
• Big Boss Man (unlocked).

WWE 2K Battlegrounds is the cartoony party game, featuring more stylized characters and up to 4 players taking the ring at once. It already features various wrestlers from across WWE’s history, such as the late Andre The Giant and John Cena.
