Wuthering Waves Hits 30 Million Downloads Worldwide

Wuthering Waves hasn’t been out long but it has reached 30 million downloads worldwide as of yesterday. In the first week alone, on Android and iOS, Wuthering Waves had already garnered 6,817,389 downloads according to mobile app analyst website AppMagic.

Initially, they’ve only given out rewards for only 10 lucky people but after much disappointment from fans, Kuro Games has decided to give out Lustrous Tide x10 and Crystal Solvent x5 to all players. Remember to claim them through the in-game mail system if you haven’t done so.

This isn’t the first time fans have made complaints for the game. There was the performance issues at launch as well as a translation error for the Japanese server regarding a limited 5-star weapon.

But with 1.1 on its way and Yinlin on the current limited banner, it goes to show that Wuthering Waves’ peak character design really helps them attract players very well.

Sales have shot up after Yinlin’s banner was released and she’s only been out for about a week. It’s even in 1st place in Japanese AppStore sales. We can expect the market sales to shoot up even more as more characters are added. Even unreleased characters Jinhsi and Changli are really popular with all the fanart on social media posts at the moment.
