Wuthering Waves, a new title from Punishing Gray Raven studio reveals gameplay

Punishing Gray Raven developer Kuro Game has uploaded gameplay and CG trailers for their upcoming mobile game, Wuthering Waves. Here is the CG trailer for the game, which was teased yesterday:

As Wuthering Waves is still under development, do note that what is shown in the gameplay trailer above may not accurately represent the final product once it releases. Nevertheless, the game appears to take the intense action and combat from Punishing Gray Raven, but in an open-world setting, complete with climbing and gliding mechanics akin to Genshin Impact.

Unlike Punishing Gray Raven which was promoted in China, followed by Japan then finally Korea and Global, Wuthering Waves already has English voices in its trailer as well as English social media accounts. There is a strong likelihood that the game will have a simultaneous launch in multiple regions.

Wuthering Waves is a story-rich open-world game with a high degree of freedom. You wake from your slumber as a Rover, greeted by an expansive new world filled with novel sights and newfangled tech.
