World of Warcraft: The War Within Beta Opens for Sign-Up

Gear up heroes, you may be able to make an early descent into World of Warcraft: The War Within in a beta test as sign-ups are now open.

As announced, players can now opt in for a chance to be selected and join the beta test for The War Within, the expansion of World of Warcraft.

According to the announcement, invitations for the testing will be rolled out regularly throughout the beta period, and selected players can hop into the game via a drop-down menu on the Battle.net client.

You’ll journey through never-before-seen subterranean worlds filled with hidden wonders, earn the trust of the new Earthen allied race, and face an ancient evil lurking in the darkness when you sign up for the beta!

Unveiled during BlizzCon 2023, The War Within is the upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft and is the first part of the newly announced Worldsoul Saga trilogy.

The Worldsoul Saga is a trilogy of expansions that will start with The War Within, continue in World of Warcraft: Midnight, and conclude with The Last Titan.

It is described as an “epic story that celebrates the first 20 years of World of Warcraft and sets new foundations for Azeroth’s future”.

In a 2024 roadmap for World of Warcraft that was unveiled in December, The War Within expansion is unveiled to be scheduled to launch in late summer or early autumn of this year.
