Despite the delay of the upcoming World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, players can still enjoy most of the new system changes via a pre-patch, available now.
The patch adds several new system changes, including the following:
- A max character level of 50, which will prepare players for the level 60 cap in Shadowlands.
- Exile’s Reach, a complete overhaul of WoW’s new player experience with its own epic story, which introduces players to the game’s core elements.
- Hundreds of new character customization options for all character races.
- Item and stat level adjustments to support the new level caps.
This is not to be confused with the Shadowlands pre-launch event, which adds a new quest involving Sylvanas and The Scourge. That event will release closer to the yet-unannounced launch date for Shadowlands.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is the latest expansion to the long-running World of Warcraft MMO. It sees players travel to the Shadowlands, the afterlife of the world of Azeroth. It features a new covenant system, where players can ally with one of the four zones of the Shadowlands to help save them from the machinations of a being known only as “The Jailer”.
The new release date for Shadowlands has not been announced yet after it was recently delayed.
