World Flipper has announced a collaboration with Granblue Fantasy, providing no additional information. A teaser clip was posted on their official Twitter, found here. The funny thing is that several Granblue characters are already part of the World Flipper universe – Clarisse and Cagliostro are but two of them – and plenty of immigrants from Cygames’ Rage of Bahamut, so this collab is a curious one. The teaser previews the silhouettes of two characters, which you can see below.
It’s very likely details for this collaboration will be unveiled at the game’s 1.5 anniversary stream, scheduled for 26 May 2021 at 21:00 JST. Prior to the stream, players who create accounts by 31 May will be able to obtain 1500 rainbow orbs as well.
In the mean time, there’s no update yet regarding the international release, to be published through Kakao Games for North America, Southeast Asia and South Korea since its initial announcement in October 2020. It’s slated for a 2021 release, at least, which we’d have to keep an eye out for.
For the uninitiated, World Flipper is a pinball game, with its little pixel characters capable of unleashing skills for a more dynamic gameplay. You can check out our very early impressions on the game here.
