World Flipper and Haruhi Suzumiya collaboration begins mid August

God has decreed that the SOS Brigade partake in some pinball action, with the announcement of the World Flipper and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya collaboration event. Haruhi and the brigade members will be arriving to the Japanese release of World Flipper on 16 August 2021, 12:00 JST to 30 August 2021, 20:59 JST. Details provided by the official news post is scant for now, but it does say that Kyon will be available as the event 4-star character. Haruhi herself, Yuki, Mikuru and Itsuki will be making appearances in the collab story, without specifying if the rest of them will be in the gacha or what rarities they will be.

In addition, a retweet campaign will allow people to try getting a signed shikishi from featured cast members, collaboration character acrylic charms or simply gacha currency. Further details will be announced at a later date about additional campaigns and the collab gacha.

Meanwhile, World Flipper is gearing up for its global release, published through Kakao Games. It hit the 1 million pre-registration mark not too long ago, and there’s yet more bonuses to claim through social media milestones. We should be able to expect the collabs to be rolling out over time, so sign up and wait till release.
