WonderPlanet has announced their new mobile RPG, Alice Fiction, with a planned launch in summer 2022. A teaser trailer accompanies the announcement, with a song performed by FantasticYouth.
Its official website and Twitter has been established, at present still quite barebones. The company’s website says that Alice Fiction – previously code-named DELIGHT – is slated to be its first worldwide simultaneous release title, made possible by utilizing resources from its Nagoya and Tokyo teams. Prior to its launch, a closed beta test will be carried out to allow players to experience the game earlier. Its genre is a “RPG in Wonder Metaverse”, whatever that’s supposed to mean. Presumably it will consist of overarching themes and/or characters from their previous releases, and not the one that people will be upset about.
Basic recommended specifications to run the game are iOS 11 or later, and Android 5 or later. At time of writing, there does not appear to be associated official global accounts, but it is a recently announced project. Other titles under WonderPlanet include Jumputi Heroes, Crash Fever and Konosuba Fantastic Days, so if you enjoyed any of those, this might be worth keeping an eye out for. Crash Fever in particular has its own ‘Alice’, so the thread might begin there.
