EA and Koei Tecmo have finally revealed full gameplay for Wild Hearts, the upcoming cooperative Hunting game that was recently announced.
The entire video is presented as a hunt of one of the game’s Kemono- the nature-infused Kingtusk, and even shows off three-player hunting in the trailer, presented in a drop-in style, though the exact nature of how co op in the game will work has not been confirmed by Koei Tecmo or EA.
In the trailer, we’re shown several things teased during the initial reveal- such as the crafting system which allows players to make a variety of useful items from boxes to leap off of, springboards to even gliders.
It’s not all utility though- the trailer also shows off damaging constructs too, as players are shown assembling giant hammers as well as even a bomb- all shown damaging the Kingtusk.
We’re also shown defensive applications of the constructs, as players are shown being able to erect whole barriers that the Kingtusk can hit, causing it to stagger and fall over.
The gameplay trailer also shows off three of the weapons that will be usable in Wild Hearts: from a traditional Katana to a bladed umbrella to even a transforming set of Kunai that turn into a giant shuriken.
