In March, Sony announced their new change of name from Sony Computer Entertainment to Sony Interactive Entertainment. They also announced a new company branched out from Sony, ForwardWorks which will is focused on developing new services for the iOS and Android devices. These were all effective since 1st April 2016. Now that months have gone by, they have finally released a lineup of games for the smartphones.
Sony has just announced their lineup of games yesterday they look pretty cool. One of our favourites which they are reviving for the smartphone is Wild Arms. Wild Arms is a western-themed RPG developed by a Japanese company, Media Vision for the PlayStation in 1996. With a western setting and 2D graphics, the game has a pretty interesting story line and gameplay during the time. They even released a sequel in the series for the PlayStation 2.
From the looks of it, the gameplay will be a turn-based battle system just like the original. So far there are no new info on the game yet. So stay tuned to find out more. ForwardWorks will also be rebooting Arc the Lad for the mobile version. Currently they are focusing on rebooting PlayStation titles for the mobile platform.
