Wild Arms: Million Memories Is Now Launched In Stores!

Wild Arms: Million Memories published by ForwardWorks and developed by the Wright Flyer Studios, is finally launched in stores for both iOS and Android! The game based off the ‘ol Wild Arms game on the PlayStation 1 back in 1996 is now re-imagined for the mobile with a new story set on planet Filgaia with familiar characters of the series. If you have pre-registered the game earlier this month, you will be able to receive 10x Gimel Coin, 500x Gems, “The One Who Inherited Tears” ARM and “My Thoughts Through My Brother” ARM!

As the game is now on mobile, the battle system is made to suit for more where players only need to swipe to move, tap to attack and flick to dodge. While if you hold the screen, you’ll be able to unleash a charged attack that will deal devastating damage upon the enemies! Faithful to the original series, the three characters in the party are interchangeable during combat just by tapping on their portraits. Once their ultimate bars are full, you’ll be able to unleash the powerful Force Ability.

You will progress through the game by completing battle quests while reading through a dramatic scenario that begins with a shocking prologue. Through battle quests, you can enjoy exhilarating combat with simple controls. Akifumi Kaneko, who led the series’ game design, worked on this tile as a supervisor, and Michiko Naruke worked as its composer.

Prologue

The ruined planet, Filgaia.

Ashley, Virginia, Jude, Dean, and Clarissa—adventurers known as “Migrant Birds”—were in trouble due to Mother, the leader of the Metal Demons.

Are they not able to stop mother’s plan? Will they have to accept their fate of despair?

Mother’s crazy laughter echoes.

Countermeasures against the worst possible situation should have been devised, and yet such a situation is occurring…

Key Features

The Protagonists from the Series Appear Again! Follow a Main Story that Begins with Shocking Developments! – In a newly told story set on the ruined planet Filgaia, a new story will be told featuring game-original characters and returning heroes from previous entries in the series. The “Main Story” follows the journey of Wild Arms‘ Rudy and company, while “Sub Quests” depict character-specific episodes and more not told in the main story. There will also be “Events” that consist limited-time episodes and quests.

Battle System – Form a party of three characters and one supporter from the characters who join the party as you progress through the Main Story. Enjoy exhilarating battles with simple controls that incorporate action elements and flashy special techniques such as “ARMs” and “Force Abilities.”

Convert Memories to Power and Fight! – Various memories, including famous scenes and characters from the Wild Arms series, will appear as “ARMs.” An ARM is a card-shaped device that embodies the memories of Filgaia into special pieces of metal and possesses great power. In battle, you can you use your ARM to activate special techniques.

Though the game is now launched in both iOS and Android, the game is only available in Japan. The game does not support any other languages, for now.
