We Love Katamari REROLL+ Royal Reverie Is Now Available For Consoles

We Love Katamari Reroll+ Royal Reverie has launched today on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. The PC version via Steam will be released tomorrow the 2nd of June 2023. The game is priced at RM99 ($30 USD)

We Love Katamari is the second title in the Katamari Damacy series that was originally released for the PS2 in 2005, with the Reroll version being an HD Remaster for modern consoles.

The game retains the typical Katamari Damacy gameplay of rolling Katamari and engulfing everything to make it bigger, but the quirky graphics have been improved to make the game even easier to play. Despite being a sequel, you don’t need to have played the original game to play We Love Katamari and Bandai Namco says that the game should be accessible to new players.

The Katamari Damacy Series Music Pack DLC is also available today. This contains 25 songs from across the Katamari Damacy series. Players can also create their own original playlist with the “Favorite BGM” function – a new element in this game. We should note however that the DLC is priced at RM89 ($20 USD), almost as much as the actual game so consumer discretion is advised.

Players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition, which is available exclusively for the digital versions, or purchase the Special Edition, which is only available on Steam, will also receive the Little King and Little Prince Costumes – which can be worn by the Prince and any of his cousins. Both editions contain the main game as well as the Katamari Damacy Series Music Pack DLC.
