Watch Dogs: Legion goes free to play over the weekend

Players can try out open-world sandbox game Watch Dogs: Legion for free for a limited time on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. Check out the trailer for the free trial weekend of Watch Dogs: Legion below:

During the free trial weekend, all players will be able to try out every available playable character in the game. Both single-player and online modes will be accessible for players. In addition, players can take part in all of the in-game open-world activities. However, players who play the game for free will not be able to fully experience the story. Free players can only explore the game’s storyline up to the Skye Larsen mission.

Here is the schedule of the free trial weekend across various regions:

Should you choose to purchase the game, you are entitled to discounts across the following platforms:

• Xbox: From March 23^rd to April 15^th – 50 percent off of the Standard and Ultimate editions.
• PlayStation: From March 24^th to 31^st – 55 percent off of the Standard edition, 40 percent off of the Ultimate edition and 20 percent off of the season pass
• Ubisoft Store on Windows PC: From March 18^th to April 9^th – 50 percent off of the Standard, Gold & Ultimate editions, and 25 percent off of the season pass
• Epic Games Store on Windows PC: March 25^th to April 8^th – 50 percent off of the Standard, Gold & Ultimate editions, and 25 percent off of the season pass
