Warp Nexus announced for smartphones, consoles, PC

Game developer Wyrmbyte has just announced Warp Nexus, the spiritual successor to Jumpgate. The game will first come out for the PC via Steam Early Access sometime in summer 2019, before making its way to consoles and smartphones. And in case you are wondering, there is cross-play enabled later in the year.

As a game set in space, you have access to your own ship, so naturally you will be spending a lot of time in the hangar in between missions. There are various missions to engage in and they range between solo tasks and co-op objectives. Because space is the next untamed frontier, PVP is the main draw here.  Players will vie for control of territories in the conquest mode where it is every man for himself.

One unique feature is the ability to issue your own missions for other players to complete. You can even issue bounties on a player that other players can cash in. For more information, be sure to head over to the main website.
