Upcoming mobile MMO Warhammer Odyssey has shown off some new art of character progression in the game. The art was posted via the games social media channels.
The art shows off the progression for the Male Witch Hunter, as well as a Female Warrior Priest. From the photo you can see there’ll be about four tiers of character progression, and at higher levels the games start to look more like the modern-day Games Workshop designs.
The Warrior Priest in particular also gives off a lot of the same vibes as in Warhammer Chaosbane. This is because you can see the character get more armored up, as opposed to the more cloth-heavy outfits of the early tiers.
Meanwhile, the Witch Hunter is steeped in iconic Warhammer imagery, as one of the most prolific classes out of Warhammer Fantasy. Personally, I’m a big fan of the stakes along his coat. Aside from looking cool, they also keep the coat weighted down.
It’s unknown if they’ll be showing more art from the rest of the game’s 6 classes.
Warhammer Odyssey is a mobile MMO set in Warhammer’s iconic Old World. This was the setting of the original Warhammer Fantasy Battle, back in the 80s.
