Warframe, is a game where space ninjas roam free and heed the call of the Tenno way or Space Mom’s instructions. Of course, for those who have been keeping up with Warframe will know the story about Space Mom, but I shall not spoil it for those who might be keen on coming back or planning to pick the game up in the future.
There is one thing you should know, that is, for a game like Warframe that was released by developer Digital Extremes, who has kept their promises all these years since it was released back in March 2013 for the PC, the developers still never cease to surprise us with their massive updates.
Warframe – The New War trailer:
With the new announcement of the Switch port coming soon thanks to Panic Button, there might be a possibility that the game will have cross play in the future. In an interview by massivelypop, Creative Director Steve Sinclair said, “…it won’t be possible for the PlayStation 4, but it could possibly be worked out for the XBox, and it would be a breeze for the PC.”
Warframe – Fortuna Update reveal trailer:
I have been playing Warframe for more than 4 years now (slightly after the initial release), and I do occasionally drop in to check out what’s new during my free time. The graphics has been upgraded and there’s a new kind-of open-world called Plains of Eidolon which is neat in a space-ninja MMORPG. More new Warframes (Umbra their latest) are still coming out along with new skins and new quests. And yet Digital Extremes is not done with rolling out updates; they have never failed to deliver their promises.
Digital Extremes is a one-of-a-kind developer that had quite the backstory if you did not know. When no publisher wanted to publish Warframe, Digital Extremes had to make cuts to publish the game on their own and now it has become a huge success.
I know I will continue to play Warframe, so why don’t you give it a try and see if you liked it as I did. It is free anyway and it is going to be free on the Switch too!
