War for the Planet of the Apes AR Mobile Game!

Planet of the Apes have been a huge franchise series in the movie scene over the years. Now with their new blockbuster, War for the Planet of the Apes, Snail Games has announced that they are collaborating with 20th Century Fox to develop an AR Mobile game based on the movie. Players will be able to interact with virtual apes via their camera on their phone like Pokemon Go and be immersed in the War for the Planet of the Apes. 

Snail Games is a game developer that is behind Age of Wushu and Dark and Light. With their new game Taichi Panda now up in both Android and iOS stores, the game is has been downloaded over 5 000 000 times! Now with their recent announcement of their collaboration with 20th Century Fox in making a Planet of the Apes AR Mobile game, it may spark up some interesting comments on the working title.

The game is scheduled to be released on July 14th next year. Hopefully this is not a joke of some sort but if they are able to make it good with some creative features and not just another clone of Pokemon Go, hey why not? However I wouldn’t want to catch me some apes, would you?
