Wan Hazmer announced own game studio in Malaysia – Metronomik

Remember our post about Wan Hazmer, our very own 100% Malaysian developer leaving Square Enix? He was one of several lead game designers on Final Fantasy XV and after he leaves Square Enix, he decided to create his own studio – Metronomik based in Komune Bangsar South, Malaysia.

There is also a business development hub (Metronomik Inc or 株式会社メトロノミック) in Tokyo as well. Wan Hazmer and his new team will focus on creating original IPs which integrate music with gameplay and everyone enjoys. Some of you might have rhythm games in your mind, however he emphasizes that it will not be rhythm games. Other than that, he is looking for new talents too:

• 1 Unreal programmer (experienced ones preferred)
• 3D modeler
• 3D rigger
• VFX artist
• Motion graphics designer
• Camera programmer/designer
