vivo Unveils New vivo V27 with Flagship-Level Cameras

vivo has unveiled the brand new vivo V27, the latest flagship level addition to their expanding V series of phones. The vivo V27 comes equipped with an exclusive Aura Light Portrait System, a 4nm chip and a 3D curved screen.

Suitable for those living the trendy lifestyles; the flagship camera with the Aura Light Portrait System helps improve photography through the integration of optical and computing photography. The V27 also packs the Super Night Video and Hybrid Image Stabilization (OIS + EIS) which enables users to take videos with bright and clear details even in dimly lit environments.

Utilising Emerald Glass and Fluorite AH Glass, the V27 colours are now richer and more engaging. The new generation 4nm chip drives the powerful performance of the phone and improves the user experience. Additionally, the V27 comes with a 6.78′ 3D curved screen, along with long lasting battery life.

Flagship level camera technology

The Aura Light Portrait System provides natural night portraits thanks to its rear ultra-sensing main camera, studio level soft lighting effect and portrait enhancing capabilities. The V27 also features the Sony IMX766V sensor with the Aura Light and Portrait algorithms working tandem, enabling the camera to light up faces for great portraits at night.

The rear vivo V27 camera comes equipped with OIS, which allows for a longer exposure and increases the light intake by six times to produce more stable and good quality images taken in low-light conditions.

Meanwhile, the Real-Time Extreme Night Vision feature which is available in Night mode allows users to see the brightness of an image while adjusting exposure and brightness in preview mode, providing a real-time view of the image’s brightness.

Clearer dim-lighting videos

The vivo V27 combines the Super Night Video and Hybrid Image Stabilisation (OIS + EIS) for better results. Super Night Video ​reduces noise in night footages and makes videos look brighter, while the Hybrid Image Stabilisation (OIS + EIS) perform stabilisation computations and movements up to 10,000 times per second, giving users clearer footage.

The Vlog Movie Creature provides users with 24 templates to show users how to shoot objects, people or landscapes with real-time guidance for camera movement. It also enables users to edit videos efficiently with its built-in time slider.

Dynamic Colours

Emerald Green, Flowing Gold, and Noble Black are the three colours users can expect with the vivo V27. The Emerald Green edition adopts the Emerald Glass with a colour-changing effect under UV light. While The Noble Black edition uses Fluorite AG Glass but with an embossed glitter texture on the surface that resembles stars in the night sky. Further more, The Flowing Gold edition uses 3D Light Spot Colour Gradient technology to create a water ripple pattern which gives the phone a 3D visual effect on 2D surface.

High-performance chip

On top of a 4nm chip, the V27 also comes with an Extended RAM 3.0 which supports up to 8GB virtual RAM. Dynamic app grouping, data compression and data aggregation algorithms compress and process background app data, increasing the number of active open apps while decreasing resource usage.

Visually stunning screen

The vivo V27 features a 6.78″ 3D curved screen with 120 Hz refresh rates. The smartphone is also the thinnest and lightest curved screen in vivo’s lineup, with a 7.36mm thickness and weighing only at 180g.

Battery Life

vivo V27 is equipped with a 4,600mAh (TYP) battery, and allows for 66W charging power with peak energy conversion efficiency of up to 97.5% using vivo’s in-house developed FlashCharge technology. Users can charge the phone up to 50% in only 19 minutes.

Pricing and availability

vivo V27 is available in two variants and priced at MYR 1,799 for 8GB+256GB and MYR 1,999 for 12GB+256GB. Users can get it at all vivo concept stores, authorised dealers, vivo Malaysia’s official E-Store and vivo Malaysia’s official flagship stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok.
