Vivo will be debuting its latest APEX 2020 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 on 23 February in Barcelona, with its Super FlashCharge 120W. On its own, the APEX series is meant to be a lineup of concept phones with bezel-less design, high screen ratio, innovative cameras, pop-up selfie camera and so on.
As more people rely on smartphones today, a longer-lasting, speedy-charging smartphone battery would surely be one of the things a consumer would look for in deciding to purchase a new smartphone. Hence, the vivo APEX 2020 will be embedded with the company’s latest innovative technology: Super FlashCharge 120W, capable of juicing the phone back up in just 13 minutes.
A lab test shows vivo’s Super FlashCharge 120 taking around five minutes to charge a 4,000mAh battery from 0 to 50%, which then can fully charge the smartphone in merely 13 minutes. Low power will be a thing of the past as you can keep your phone fully charged for the whole day!
The Super FlashCharge 120W also features a new charge pump technology with customisable Type-C data cable and travel charger. Presently though, there hasn’t been much official statement on the full concept or specifications for the upcoming APEX 2020. You can look forward to Vivo’s press conference on 23 – 24 February at MWC 2020, Barcelona.
