Square Enix has announced that their upcoming RPG game, Visions of Mana has a demo available to play now. The game will be released on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Microsoft Store on August 29 globally.
This action RPG, the first mainline entry in the Mana series in over 15 years, allows players to experience part of Chapter 1, including areas like Rime Falls, the Fallow Steppe, and Rhata Harbor. Check out the demo announcement trailer below.
In addition to the exploration, the demo also features a battle against the chapter’s final boss, the Kraken, and lets players experiment with the Wind and Moon classes alongside characters Val, Careena, and Morley.
While the save data from the demo cannot be transferred to the full game, players who complete the demo and purchase the game will receive 3 special weapons for Val. You can claim these weapons by starting a new game and proceeding as far as Chapter 1. If you do happen to miss out on the demo, not to worry as the weapons can still be earned by progressing through the game once it releases.
NOTES
The following weapons will be available to equip as classes unlock in the full game:
- The “Gladius” can be equipped once Val becomes playable in Chapter 1.
- The “Falx” can be equipped once it becomes possible to change class to the wind class.
- The “Horn Lance” can be equipped once it becomes possible to change class to the moon class.
- Save data from the demo must be present on the system to claim these items.
