Very Little Nightmares has finally crept its way onto the Google Play Store for Android. The prequel to Tarsier Studio’s Little Nightmares was first launched for iOS earlier in the year. Both versions are premium titles at $6.99 or your regional equivalent. Unlike the more platforming style of the original game, the mobile version is more akin to a puzzler.
Players take the role of a tiny girl in a yellow raincoat, helpfully named as the Girl in the Yellow Raincoat. You will need to help her escape the ominous mansion known as “The Nest”. Naturally, this creepy abode hosts a myriad of traps and monsters waiting to consume the girl.
The game is in an isometric perspective, and you control the girl by tapping on the screen. You’d probably feel like it reminds you of Monument Valley, just replacing the shifting structures with deadly traps and hungry monsters.
The puzzle, art, exploration and environmental design all are kept faithful to the original. Fans of Little Nightmares shouldn’t find any issue with the game. The girl’s fate is in your hands. While you wait for its sequel, iOS users, and now Android, can buy Very Little Nightmares from your store of choice.
