The upcoming Venus Vacation PRISM: DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme has revealed its gameplay and received a detailed system update, showcasing its minigame features and comprehensive photography functions ahead of its 2025 release.
The game introduces interactive story episodes featuring various minigames. Players can participate in “Hand Sumo,” where they must press buttons in quick succession to unbalance their opponent, potentially leading to unique character interactions. Another minigame, “Water Fight,” allows players to choose two characters for beach-based water battles, with dynamic wet effects influencing character appearances and potentially affecting story progression.
The photography system has been significantly expanded with multiple customization options. Players can utilize up to three adjustable point lights to perfect their shots, along with various filter effects for enhanced photo composition. The game features advanced texture rendering, particularly noticeable in the realistic representation of wet surfaces and translucent fabric effects that react in real-time.
A new gameplay loop in Venus Vacation PRISM: DEAD OR ALIVE Xtreme involves building fan bases through photo submissions, with successful photographers unlocking additional costume options for their characters.
