“Agate is very excited about this partnership with Ripples Asia, which has many innovative and high-quality games in its portfolio. We believe that this partnership will help Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2 attract more Asian gamers to enjoy the game,” said Arief Widhiyasa, CEO of Agate.
Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2, the sequel to the original Valthirian Arc, is a combination of an RPG and a simulation game, where you as the school’s headmaster, will manage the learning content and timetables of your students, building them into heroes by developing their abilities and skills.
These skills and abilities are key to enabling students to fight for the Valthirians. They will have to defeat various opponents in strategic turn-based battles and enhance the reputation of the Academy. However, you won’t have enough time to keep up with the status quo – each academic year, senior students will graduate and new ones will start, so it’s vital to manage the Hero Academy to get motivated students into the Hero Squad.
Your foresight and strategic planning are particularly important in the Hero Academy’s unique turn-based battle system, where your success is based on your skills in each profession and your ability to defeat the enemy’s weaknesses. Whether it’s a solid strategy or the need to fight to win, it’s up to you to take on the battlefield and solve the challenges you face.
As Headmaster, you’ll want to focus only on nurturing and caring for the best students, but you also have a responsibility to ensure that every child who grows up under your Academy’s wing grows and thrives. Each student will stay at the College for three years before graduating. As a result, these students will have an impact on your Academy’s reputation! The system does not allow talented students to re-enroll in their second year. Managing your entire student list is the key factor to staying on top of the game.
The game will be part of the upcoming Steam Next Fest, which will run from 10:00 am PT (2:00 am the next day MYT) on February 21st for one week until February 28th. A demo of the game will also be released for those that want to get a head start on exploring the world of Valthirian.
The game will be available on Steam in the first quarter of 2022 and will be coming to other consoles at a later point.
