Professional Valorant eSports team Ghost CommandoS (GCS) had to forfeit a match in the Valorant Challengers League in Taiwan and Hong Kong because one of their team members was too distracted playing the recently released Honkai Star Rail.
According to Reporter @SeuligiVLR, the team was unable to compete against opponent S2 Esports as a member of the Taiwan-based GCS was so busy playing through Honkai that they forgot to install the Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) client in time for their match. As such the team was forced to forfeit the game.
Just read about the funniest forfeit possibly in VCT history in VCL HKTW

One funny thing about this turnout is that many people in the comments of the Twitter post are saying they “can’t blame them”. Honkai Star Rail has taken the gaming world by storm with the title being downloaded by over 20 million users in less than five days.
Like the previous miHoYo games, Honkai Star Rail includes a large story and open world with lots of daily missions for players to partake in so it’s no wonder many users can lose track of time while playing.
GSC was able to play a match soon after the forfeit however they lost and ended up in eighth place overall for the Valorant Challengers League in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Valorant is available for PC, and Honkai Star Rail is available for PC as well as mobile devices.
