Riot Games has announced that its team shooter, VALORANT, will be heading to mobile devices. At this juncture, there’s no information regarding its launch date, or how different it’d be from the base game, or its hardware requirements, but it will simply be called Valorant Mobile.
As the game hits its first anniversary, Riot says the game has managed 14 million players average per month, which is quite impressive when you consider it’s only available on PC. The celebrations have begun and will be running over the course of a month, with specifics to be available through their various social channels. Here‘s what’s coming:
- Night Market: A collection of six random skins available to purchase, discounted and unique to you
- Give Back Bundle: Vote for four of your favourite gun skins. Proceeds from the resulting bundle will go towards the Riot Games Social Impact Fund
- Player Cards: One each to celebrate Episode 1, 2 and 3
- Community Battlepass: Global VALORANT regions to vote for items to represent their region for a future Episode 4 battlepass
- WWFEST for 25 June
- YR1 Event Pass free for all

- Squad Boost: Team up with others and gain boosts according to how many you queue with
