The recent Samsung Note 8 Unpacked event reveals Vainglory’s upcoming full Samsung DeX support, which means you can soon experience the game on a big screen. Good news for the fans!
In the upcoming 2.8.0 update, you can play the game on keyboard and mouse with Samsung Note 8, Galaxy S8 and GalaxyS8+ devices. You will need a Samsung Game Launcher app to do so. For the eager fans, a demo version of the DeX-optimized game will be playable at the ongoing gamescom in Germany.
Vainglory is one of the first games to be optimized with Samsung’s Vulkan graphics API technology. Since then, Samsung and Super Evil Megacorp has been working together closely to improve the game. The Samsung Galaxy Invitational during E3 2016 hosted top Vainglory esports teams around the world with Vainglory as the mobile gaming partner. While in this year March, Samsung introduces Samsung DeX (along with the Galaxy S8/S8+ smartphones) that connects the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ to a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
