unVEIL the world, a new mobile RPG by NetEase and Shueisha Games announced at TGS 2022

NetEase Games and Shueisha Games announced a project developed between the two, unVEIL the world at TGS 2022.

unVEIL the world is a tactical hero summoning RPG game system based on an epic story centering on a huge tower and characters that take on the tower’s challenges.

The prologue of the game is as follows

A young girl gazes upon a gigantic tower piercing the clouds.

Mysterious portals found within are said to lead to countless worlds.

A strong yearning had grown within the girl over the years.

“I must reach the top of the tower.”

Numerous adventurers have faced this challenge, yet none have claimed success.

The girl sets off, her first steps in a long and perilous journey.

The beginning of a wondrous and epic adventure.

Famous manga artist, Posuka Demizu is in charge of the design for the characters of unVEIL the world. Posuka works include the illustration of The Promised Neverland, written by Kaiu Shirai.

The main character of the story is Yuta Lassica, a young girl taking on the challenge of the tower. However, she is not the only one aiming to reach the top of the tower.

Two years ago, an unknown game was teased with the project being a collaboration between LINE and Shuiesha Games. Three character concept arts were revealed and it shares remarkable similarities to the silhouettes of the characters teased for unVEIL the world, with the difference now it is between Shueisha Games and NetEase and not LINE
