Japanese apparel retailer Uniqlo has revealed that its graphic T-shirt brand UT will be having a new collection of Capcom themed tees to celebrate the company’s 40th anniversary.
From the official Uniqlo UT Instagram post, the Capcom 40th Anniversary UT collection will feature seven graphic tees featuring several of Capcom’s iconic franchises that have been selected by UT’s creative director, Kosuke Kawamura.
Kawamura’s collage of Capcom 40th Anniversary graphic t-shirt includes titles such as Ghosts ‘n Goblins, Mega Man, Final Fight, Street Fighter II, Devil May Cry, Monster Hunter, and Resident Evil RE:4.
As of time of writing, the Capcom 40th Anniversary UT Collection is scheduled to release sometime in March on the Japanese and Singaporean Uniqlo stores for 1,990 Yen and S$19.90 respectively.
There is currently no official announcement whether the Capcom 40th Anniversary UT Collection will be available in Malaysia; however, given that Malaysia is getting the Street Fighter and Tekken collection, it is safe to assume we will also be getting the Capcom UT Collection.
Capcom had also previously launched a new website celebrating the company’s 40th anniversary called Capcom Town which includes a number of areas for fans to check out, including a Retro Games section which lets users play a selection of Capcom games such as Final Fight, Mega Man, and Street Fighter II.
