Uniqlo Malaysia and Studio Ghibli are teaming up to release a new Uniqlo T-shirt (UT) Collection based on the studio’s films. Titled #My style, My ghibli, this never-before-seen UT Collection will be launching next week on 18 February, 2022.
The collection comprises a lineup of 12 styles in adult and kids sizes and will be available at UNIQLO stores and online stores in just four markets, including Malaysia. The collection brings Ghibli movies to life, featuring colourful graphics based on My Neighbor Totoro and a photo of the Cat Bus by Thai photographer, Kanyada. Adult sizes are priced at RM79.90 while kids sizes are at RM59.90. Check out some of the designs below:

The UTme! service from Uniqlo, which allows anyone to make their own original T-shirt, will feature special designs incorporating stamps from the commemorative exhibition, as well as Kanyada’s photos and drawings for users to create their own designs. Here are some examples:
To commemorate the launch of this new UT Collection, a major exhibition of Studio Ghibli’s works, #My style, My ghibli, Let’s lose our way, together, has opened today at CentralWorld shopping complex in Bangkok, Thailand. Admission is free and it will be open from Friday, February 11, to Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 10.00 am to 10.00 pm every day. It features memorable scenes and quotes from Studio Ghibli’s animation rendered with impactful calligraphy by Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki. Also on display are photos by Kanyada of the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka and the beautiful landscapes of Pak Thong Chai in Northeast Thailand.
