Uniqlo Chainsaw Man Collection Coming to Malaysia This September

Clothing brand Uniqlo has announced that they will be launching a Chainsaw Man collection and it is coming to Malaysia, featuring graphic T-shirts based on the iconic characters from the anime and manga series, like Denji, Power, and Makima.

According to the Uniqlo Malaysia official website, the T-shirt collection is scheduled to launch on the 25th of September, 2023.

There will be a total of 5 different short sleeve graphic T-shirts in this collection, each costing RM 79.90.

The design of the T-shirts features the devil hunters from the series, and each of the designs comes with only one color option of either black or white.

The collaborative project in designing the shirts is led by Kosuke Kawamura, collage artist, creative director of Uniqlo UT, and a fan of the series.

“The original art and anime drawings are highly finished and very detailed, so I was able to expand my ideas for T-shirt design materials and experiment with various collage tastes and techniques.”, said Kosuke Kawamura.

“I hope that people who have always liked Chainsaw Man will enjoy the different taste and also people who are not familiar with Chainsaw Man will want to try it on.”

Chainsaw Man is a dark fantasy action manga series written by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which then received an anime adaption that garnered positive fanfare.

The story of the manga follows Denji who made a contract with a devil and became the Chainsaw Man and serves as a devil hunter.
