Under Night 2 Beta Announced For This Month

Under Night In-Birth II: Sys Celes (Under Night 2) is getting an open Beta ahead of the game’s launch, letting players try out the new systems for the anime fighter.

Announced during the Arc System Works stream at Paris Games Week, the Under Night 2 Beta will run from November 17th to November 20th, and will be open to PS4 and PS5 users.

Additionally, the Arc System Works website has also confirmed the following characters will be playable for the beta:

• Vatista
• Seth
• Yuzuriha
• Hilda
• Chaos
• Nanase
• Byakuya
• Phonon
• Mika
• Wagner
• Enkidu
• Londrekia
• Tsurugi
• Kaguya
• Eltnum
• Akatsuki

Although he was previously featured in the game’s marketing, Arc System Works have confirmed that Kuon will not be playable in the upcoming beta.

They’ve also confirmed that the beta will include features such as training mode, Vs CPU as well as online versus.

Under Night 2 is the follow up to the Under Night series by French Bread, which gained a cult following thanks to its more unique system mechanics.

It features the whole roster from Under-Night In-Birth Exe: Late Clr, which includes guest characters Sion (Melty Blood) and Akatsuki (Akatsuki Blitzkampf).

The title releases on PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on January 25th, 2024.
